The teardown contract includes two PW4000-100 engines and marketing of serviceable aircraft and engine parts

VAS Aero Services, a global leader in aviation logistics and aftermarket services, and Hi Fly Airlines, a leading widebody aircraft wet lease specialist operating worldwide, have announced an agreement for VAS to manage the disassembly one Hi Fly A330 aircraft (MSN 262) and associated engines.
The serviceable material will be marketed and placed through VAS’ worldwide parts network. The airframe teardown will be conducted by VAS’ European services partner, Tarmac Aerosave, at the Tarmac facility in Tarbes, France. The aircraft’s two Pratt and Whitney PW4000-100 engines will be disassembled by SR Technics (SRT) at the SRT facility in Zurich, Switzerland.
